Laser Section Guide

JSC Plasma is Russian R&D company, established in 1959 as a manufacturer types of gas lasers JSC Plasma produces high quality and high reliability products by the sophisticated technical basis and superior productivity which are cultivated by more than 40 years knowledge and experience in aerospace and defense industry. PLASMA is one of the oldest and major developers and manufacturers of gas lasers in the world. The first lasers were developed at PLASMA in 1963, actually two years after emergence of the first gas laser in the world. Now PLASMA offers over 100 models of all types of gas lasers:  HeNe lasers, HeCd lasers, Ion lasers, CO2 lasers and Nitrogen lasers devices.

We offer over 50 types of different HeNe Lasers (including multi-line and stabilized lasers) ranging in power from 0.5 to 100 mW for use in holography, printing arts, interferometry, medicine, test and measuring equipment, laser light shows. Besides conventional lasers emitting in the visible spectrum, PLASMA has developed lasers operating in the near and middle IR spectral range.

The next famous laser group offered by PLASMA consists of two lines of HeCd Lasers with linear and co-axial laser tubes with output powers from 10 to 180 mW at 442 nm emission wavelenth and from 5 to 35 mW at 325 nm emission wavelength. We also offer to the customers several models of double-line He-Cd lasers with simultaneous emission at 325 nm and 442 nm. Our HeCd lasers are widely used in holography, stereolithography, materials processing, measurements and tests, research, medicine and biochemistry.

PLASMA also manufactures wide range of CO2 Lasers including a line of small-size waveguide RF-excited lasers with output power range from 1 to 50 W. These devices can be successfully applied for industrial purposes such as material processing and marking, in environmental monitoring and medicine.

Collaboration with Institute of Physics of Russian Academy of Science resulted in development of a super small-size self-containing Nitrogen Laser of about 1 mW output power.

The current line of noble-gas Ion Lasers covers water-cooled Ar, Kr, and Ar+Kr filled devices emitting in the visible wavelength range of 0.4579-0.6764 and in the UV range of 0.3344-0.3511 um. Thу application field includes usage of such lasers in test and measuring apparatus, computer facilities, in material processing, microelectronics, laser shows, printing arts, medicine and in other fields of science and technology.
